Raya's FIRST JWW's Run

Yours truly didn't realize that JWW has a tire in it and as Raya has been pregnant and then had the puppies in the last 6 months I hadn't gotten around to training it. Scorch at 17 Weeks

My how he is growing!! I picked him up from my friends house after leaving him there for 2 weeks so I could fly out to Scottsdale, AZ for the USDAA Nationals and I came back to see that he had grown about an INCH at least (upwards and outwards!). Looking more like his Daddy, Sonic every day. He is now almost as tall as Raya. We measured him at 12 inches at the shoulder!

Go Scorch GO!! All of 11 weeks and retrieving his little heart out. He is a natural. He's been retriever like this since he was 5 weeks old.

IDGIE AND HER NEW MUM, TERRY HERMAN

Here is Idgie's and her new mum, Terry Herman, who is having a fabulous time with her in Maryland. She is just has a powerhouse personality and LOVES the water. Just what Terry wants and needs. Bye little Idgie... Auntie Kim, Mama Raya and I will miss you! Mama Raya still has Scorchy to harrass and play with.

Both have fabulous little personalities and seem to be shaping up to be strong, healthy poodles. Our third puppy, Summer, has already gone to her new home with Cindy Glover and Ravin et al. Pictures of Summer are coming!

Here is one of our first videos of the pups on the move! They are starting to walk and play with each other and getting interested in their environment. Raya is the consummate mama! Every protective and making sure her babies are "CLEAN" !!

The pups are almost 4 weeks of age and are starting to toddle around and eat their own puppy food (mushed up of course!). They are a fiesty lot !! The boy seems to like me a lot :)

What a good girl Raya is!! She took to the second set like she knew exactly what to do. Look at that speed though... yee haa!! I think she makes a mistake in this one - we just ignore it and go back for another trial.

Adding More Angles to the 2 x 2 Training

Raya is doing extremely well with the 2 x 2 training. Look at that speed!! Good girl !! I always add Sonic to the picture for distraction and Raya works nicely through it !! I'm limping in this video - slammed the sliding glass door on my foot - OUCH!!

More 2 x 2 Training

I'm starting to incoporating some angles and rear crosses to the weaves. Raya has picked up on it very nicely! All the shaping and foundation work as made for a dog willing to work and find the FUN in everything. Look at the way she is TUGGING !! And look at the kids in the background as a wonderful distraction!! Raya does well to ignore them and focus on the job at hand!

Raya & Sonic Running

I wanted to capture on video the way Raya and Sonic run. Most specifically Raya. I am getting wonderful retrieves and recalls in all sorts of environments. Our little Raya has really put on some speed lately. She is really driving at doing everything now!!

This video was taken at a ballpark in Winter Park, FL which we had never been to and right next to the agility field where 2 rings were going on!! She has great focus and drive with all the distractions going on.
